Last post of May.

We spent the whole month telling stories about Black folks and tents and what outside actually means to us. The cousin with the chandelier. The auntie waking up the whole row at 7am with Frankie Beverly. The 58-year-old mama who became a Year 7 OG. The 11pm sky at Lake Blackshear. The Year 1 tent that turned into a Year 8 squad of 12. The MC2022 storm that turned into a story.

All of it true. All of it ours.

Tomorrow is June 1. Two things happen tomorrow:

1. The price moves up to the next tier.
2. We hit the official 4-month countdown.

If you been quietly thinking about it all month, watching the posts, sending them to your group chat — tonight is the last night at this price.

Whatever you do — sleep on it. But know.

Thank y'all for spending May with us. We been outside, and we'll keep being outside, and in 4 months we'll be outside TOGETHER. 🤎

It's the last Saturday in May.

Two days from now, June 1 hits and the price moves up to the next tier.

I'm saying it real plain so nobody can say I didn't.

If you been telling yourself 'I'll book Monday' — Monday is the new price. If you been saying 'next paycheck' — next paycheck buys you a more expensive tier of the same thing.

This weekend is the move.

While you're outside today — at the cookout, at the pool, in the backyard with your people — that joy is exactly what September is. Just longer. With a lake. And 1,000 cousins.
