Calling all runners! This year we are adding a 5k run to the morning activities so you can earn your afternoon festivities! Join us for the John M. Gallagher memorial run, which starts and ends at Legacy Park. Participants over 21 get a beer to finish their race and everyone is invited for the mini-fest held at the conclusion. With that ever-so-slight crispness in the air, we find ourselves saying a long goodbye to wheat beers, sours, saisons, and fruit beers. The beauty of canned beer is its portability for outdoor activities. It wasn’t long ago the canned craft beer market had few options ( Dales Pale was certainly a front runner in making it cool to can). We are lucky these days to have everything from refreshing pale ales like River Trip to classic Belgian beers like Delirium Tremens (which was formerly only available in ceramic bottles) packaged in cooler-friendly cans.
