BIG ANNOUNCEMENT✨ After 13 incredible seasons as co-founder and producer of Dunwoody Food Truck Thursdays through Redbird Events, there will no longer be an event moving forward.
The Dunwoody Food Truck Thursdays that we built together over the past 13 seasons has come to an end.
I know this may come as a surprise to many, especially with the season approaching and I wanted to share this update directly.
What many people may not know is that this event was part of a much larger movement I helped create across Metro Atlanta—launching and producing most of the original weekly food truck gatherings including Virginia Highland Food Truck Wednesdays, Smyrna Food Truck Tuesdays, Duluth Food Truck Fridays and Lilburn Food Truck Tuesdays!
At the time, these events were something new for Georgia—bringing together food trucks, live music and community in a way that simply didn’t exist before. Dunwoody Food Truck Thursdays became one of the most special of them all.
I’m incredibly proud of what we built over those 13 seasons and deeply grateful to the vendors, musicians, sponsors and thousands of attendees who showed up and made it what it was.
A special thank you to Bill Grossman at Dunwoody Homeowners Association, if he hadn’t believed in the concept and its potential, DFTT would never have come to life. And to City of Dunwoody Parks & Recreation, City of Dunwoody - Government, Dunwoody, GA and Mayor Lynn Deutsch for their continued support and sponsorship in bringing this event to life for many years.
As I close this chapter, I’m stepping more fully into what’s next—continuing to create meaningful experiences with corporate clients and expanding into my work in healing, connection and community in new ways.
Thank you for being part of this journey. More to come soon. ✨
