Ellijay's downtown area, on the courthouse square, offers a variety of antique shops, restaurants, and local businesses. Our cabin is located only an hour north of Atlanta, and 15 minutes from Blue Ridge, in the north Georgia mountains. A great year round get away where you can kick back and relax from our front deck, with a seasonal mountain view, or the back deck overlooking the forest treetops.
Our cabin comfortably sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with two twin beds. There are 2 full baths and a sleeping loft with day bed, pub table, foosball table, washer and dryer and computer station with free internet. There is
a beautiful gas fireplace for those cool mountain nights. On the back deck you will find a gas grill, free standing fire pit, dining area, swing and rocking chairs. For your indoor enjoyment there are 3 televisions, MP3 Player, DVD player with an assortment of movies, board, dice
and card games. This is a smoke-free environment. It is pet friendly for pets up to 20 lbs, for a $30 pet fee. Cabin is located only 5 minutes from Coosawattee Fish Trap Park where you can enjoy swimming, fishing and kayaking. Across the unique suspension bridge in the park you will find a dog park and beautiful swimming pool. You don't even have to leave the Coosawattee River Resort to find lots of amenities to enjoy. There is the Rec Center with state of the art gym, tennis and basketball courts, miniature golf and heated indoor pool. At the General Store you can make arrangements for tubing, enjoy a snack and visit the lovely gift shop. No matter what time of year you visit will find an abundance of wildlife within the resort. There is always something going on in the neighboring towns of Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Blairesville and Helen. Amicalola Falls and Fort Mountain State Park are close by for exploring. Ellijay is the Apple Capital of Georgia. In the Fall is the annual Apple Festival where you can enjoy picking your own apples and browsing the Arts and Crafts Fair. The nearby Carter's Lake, is the largest lake in Georgia and
offers fishing, boating and swimming. Whitewater rafting
