The Richest People in the World Today Build Networks. Others Are Trained to Work for Others. Sustainable Wealth is in the Network.” An example is Mark Zuckerberg – Facebook/Meta. He built facebook. It is a network of people, over 3 billion users connecting on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Take note, He doesn’t sell a product directly, rather he owns the platform. Advertisers pay billions to reach his network.
Look at Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon. He built a network of sellers, buyers, warehouses, and delivery partners. Most sellers on Amazon don’t work for him, they’re independent. But he created the system they all depend on, the system they use to trade there products.
Look at Bolt / Uber. The Drivers own their cars and work for themselves, but they depend on the network (app) built by someone else. The owner of the app earns commission from every trip, without ever driving.
On the contrary, a typical Nigerian Graduate is Trained to work for someone else. He is Taught: “Get a degree, get a job, earn a salary.”No one taught him to build a network, create a system, own equity.” That’s the difference between income and wealth.
If you can create a network or platform you will create sustainable wealth. A network is a system that connects people to value just like facebook.
A platform is a system where others operate and create income, but you own or control the system.
This could be a business, brand, tech platform, or even a loyal community (like influencers and pastors).
The poor and middle-class work inside networks.
The wealthy build and control networks. If you want sustainable wealth, Build people. Build platforms. Build systems. Build networks.
If you follow these steps, within a short time your mentality start changing and your path to the good life begins.
