“One-Peace” is a festival that is about bringing together the community to create a unified and peaceful environment. Strengthening our community by creating a space where all people who live amongst each other, close, or far become well acquainted and find qualities in one another that will help bring us together rather than set us apart. Health and wellness is a very important component in all o

ur lives and we want to help contribute available resources that will be present to the community members when participating in the festival. Here, there will be organizations of these values active to help provide the community members with what they need to help them receive a better quality of life throughout time. Lastly, we want to embrace all the different cultures that exist in our community. You have here Black/African American, Hispanic American, White Americans, Asian American, and other races. Being able to unite all these people and to proudly share who they are among their neighbors. This will bring so much love to the community and we would like to start this by bringing this Hip Hop festival to the communities that it complements most.

Important Update from the One Peace HipHop Festival Team

With heavy hearts, we want to share that the 2025 One Peace HipHop Festival will not be taking place as planned. This was not an easy decision. It’s the first time we’ve had to cancel after announcing — and we know how much this gathering means to our community.

Due to limited sponsorship support — much of which is a reflection of the tough economic times many of our partners are facing — we simply weren’t able to secure the funding needed to bring the festival to life in the way our people deserve.

But this isn’t the end — not even close.

We’re already putting our energy into creative, alternative opportunities that continue to uplift, connect, and celebrate the culture. Our Summer Series Pop-Ups are in full motion and already making a real impact in our communities. We’re also exploring what the future holds, and how we can turn this moment into something even more meaningful.

To everyone who’s shown love and support — thank you. Stay tapped in. More is on the way. 💛

Go and tell everyone that One Peace HipHop Festival is happening this year in August on Saturday, 23rd 2025. From 11am - 5pm and we are ready to bring you a beautiful full day event at Jaycee Mackay Park!

With local talents showcasing their art in many forms. From live graffiti art, deejays on the one’s & two’s, emcees performing their original hits, and of course a breakin battle amongst some dope bboys and bgirls!

We heard you guys asking when’s the next pop up! Well here you have it! This upcoming Friday we’re popping up at Cherry Park on the 18th from 5pm-8pm. This is why we love the SUMMER we can enjoy a nice chill evening with our community and neighbors.

We have an amazing DJ by the name of who will be accompanying us with the tunes! There will be an exhibition match of breakdancers who will be performing and showcasing their talents which is organized by academy. And ofcourse we will have some live art happening all while enjoying the evening.

Come out and have some fun and bring your lawn chairs to sit back and relax! Let the kids run around the park playground while you enjoy some tunes and great conversations.

You gotta love it!
It’s another year of One Peace’s Pop Up Series!

This year we’re leading these series into the festival and we’re excited to bring you guys on a journey right along with us.

Kicking off the summer series we’re collaborating with for their Bridge Street League tournament night events. This Friday from 5pm-9pm at Las Canchas Downtown Grand Rapids! It’s a special night and we’re bringing the vibes. Hip Hop Night happening this week and you don’t want to miss it.

We are partnering with/ on curating this pop up event and will have performers bring show stopping energy. We have a break dance exhibition match that night and so much more.

We can’t wait to see you all there!!
