It’s time to make your plans! The 25th Annual Vintage Yamaha Rally will be held September 24–28 at the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge in Stecoah, North Carolina. This milestone year calls for a true celebration, and with strong attendance, the Iron Horse will provide a live band, cake, and festivities on Saturday night!

Reserve your spot early! Accommodations are limited and filling fast. Call or e-mail the Iron Horse Lodge today and be sure to mention you’re with the Vintage Yamaha Rally—this helps us plan and ensures you don’t miss out.

We’re calling on regular attendees, occasional visitors, and friends we haven’t seen in a while—let’s make this 25th anniversary a true reunion of Vintage Yamaha enthusiasts. While the focus is on Vintage Yamahas, all Yamaha motorcycles are welcome, though awards are reserved for bikes 25 years or older.

Even though September may seem far away, it’s not too early to start planning for our upcoming event. In fact, it’s the perfect time.

Rooms and campsites fill up faster than you might expect, and we would hate for anyone to miss out simply because they waited too long to make a reservation. Securing your spot now guarantees you’ll be part of all the fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories we’ll be creating together.

If you’re expecting a tax refund this season, consider setting aside a portion to invest in a great time this September. Experiences and time spent with friends are always worth it!

I’ll be sharing photos of past gatherings so you can see just how much fun we have. And remember — new attendees are always welcome. Invite a friend, bring your family, and join us for a fantastic time.

A few early arrivals for the Vintage Yamaha Rally. A couple additional bikes just took off for a quick ride.

There have been a couple scattered small showers today but nothing significant. There seems to be a consensus among the weather guessers that tomorrow will be crappy with high chance of rain. Friday could be hit or miss, again per the weather guessers. Weekend still looking good for riding with minimal chance of complications from weather.

Shirts are in!
Thankfully, these wee received several days earlier than last year. Last year, these were received and being organized the day before our departure to Stecoah.
All those attending will receive their shirts at check-in on Friday. For those that arrive earlier, just find Nancy (if she's not out riding) and she'll give you the shirts and goodie bag.
We're very happy the printer was able to clean-up the images and make thee look very good. As many models as possible were represented on the shirt... We think you will like them!

Unfortunately, the conversion to the Screen Printer's "VECTOR GRAPHICS" does not provide a real nice presentation. Shirts get printed on Monday.....

Yamaha Corporate Donation - Shirt Orders to CLOSE 9/1!

Yamaha-Motor USA has again provided a small donation to our event. As usual, these items will be in the drawing for Saturday night. There is NO COST and NO FEE for the Saturday giveaways. On arrival, all attendees will receive a small goodie bag with items from friends and donators and a raffle ticket for the bigger items to be given away on Saturday night.

NOTE: SHIRT ORDERS CLOSE 9/1. Although we sometimes buy a few extra shirts to meet a price point from the Screen Printer, it is unlikely we will have the $$ to do so this year. Do NOT plan on buying a shirt at the rally. All shirts are pre-order & pre-paid. Sorry, we just can't afford to pay for extra shirts that may (or may not) be purchased.

Preparations for the Rally are accelerating.

Although "The Kitty" is a little low this year, we purchased the typical awards as has been the norm for the last half-dozen++ years. Best Resto 1st & 2nd, Best Custom 1st & 2nd, Yamaha Factory Award, and Best Overall. We've had quite a few stellar machines in the past and hope for more this year.

The shirt printer now has all the artwork and is preparing the files into the proper format to make his screens. Shirt ordering is still available but will CLOSE at midnight September 1st! PERIOD. If your interested the annual shirt it MUST BE pre-purchased for pick-up at the rally or mailing after the rally. See the other post(s) that provide shirt details.

We are having some limited success with our typical rally contributors. As you can see, Summit Racing has been a regular contributor and has supplied a few nice goodies for our attendees. We're hopeful that several other regular contributors will be providing a few goodies as well.

Preparing the bikes for the Rally!

Yesterday, I got almost all of my bikes out on the lawn for a "Family Photo" Although I have a couple "Little Hondas" I'm preparing for the Grand Kids,, our collection is Vintage Yamaha!

Trying to decide which 2-3 will be going this year. I usually take three as one is for Friday when Nancy is doing registration so this one can be without a back rest.... The other is for a "Spare" as frequently someone is without a bike or has had some difficulty that would prevent them from riding without my loan of a bike.

Which ones should I take to the 2025 Vintage Yamaha Rally (limit is 3)?

IH Availability & Shirt Order Missing Details

Hi Vintage Yamaha Rally Attendees & Friends.

We checked with the IH and there remains great availability of accommodations: 4 Deluxe Private, 8 Semi-Private, 3 Efficiencies, Many Camping Sites (with & without 110v), Wagons. HOWEVER, they are running short on RV sites. If you are planning to attend with an RV - YOU MUST RESERVE NOW or there will not likely be an RV site remaining.

We've seen the IH fill up pretty quickly as folks start seeing the fall in the not-so-distant future. Make your reservations now!!!

SHIRT ORDERS WITH MISSING INFORMATION!!!!!
We have received a few PAID shirt orders without adequate information. An orders requesting shirts be mailed with NO mailing address and no e-mail address. Nancy has responded to the PayPal purchase requesting this information without response. Please, if you have ordered a shirt(s) and not received a confirmation note from Nancy you're probably one of the couple people that did not include your e-mail. Please reach out with these details. Kinda hard to confirm your shirt order or mail a shirt without any address information!

Here is the 2025 Vintage Yamaha Rally T-Shirt design!

We tried to do something different. Hopefully, your vintage model is represented on the shirt. Unfortunately, there's not enough printable area to include every Vintage Yamaha Model.

This year we can not offer the "Shopping Basket" on the vintageyamaharally.com web-site. Cost of the page hosting went up dramatically and our very modest account could no longer support the cost. Please place your order as "Friends & Family" to avoid an additional fee charged by PayPal.

Vintage Yamaha Rally is a group of Yamaha enthusiasts & friends sharing the fantastic riding options in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains.

All shirt orders will receive an order confirmation e-mail promptly from Nancy. Please be sure to indicate size & sleeve.

All shirts are pre-purchase. As stated, our modest account can not support purchasing additional shirts that may or may not be purchased at the rally.
