🎤🎂 HAPPY BORN DAY TO OUR 2026 GARDEN OF HIP HOP HONOREE, Alex Cole Acosta ! 🎂🎤

Born on the SAME DAY as Hip Hop, Alex always says, “I was born to do this.” And clearly, he was!

From creating programs to help improve literacy in Atlanta Public Schools, where only 2 out of 10 Black students are reading on grade level, to creating Hip Hop college programs, taking Hip Hop education to Paris, and even having his work on billboards in Downtown Atlanta by CNN, Alex has continued to use Hip Hop as a vehicle for education, culture and community.

Today we salute you, give you your flowers 🌹 and honor you AGAIN with a deep reverence on your born day.

Happy Birthday Alex! You were born with Hip Hop, and you’ve spent your life making sure the culture keeps giving birth to something greater. 🎤🌱🖤

Last year we had a Father/Son onstage together & this year we had a Mother/Daughter (shoutout to Real Auntie Big Dawg)

When we tell yall it was dope, we mean it.. So prepare for a FLOOD 😭😭😭
