Fire Ant Festival Food + Family + Fire Ants = Fun! Festival is held in Ashburn, Georgia every 4th weekend in March! FREE ADMISSION TO THE FIRE ANT FESTIVAL!

Held the fourth weekend of March, small-town Ashburn welcomes visitors to the Fire Ant Festival, but not the ants themselves. Known for its wacky and off-the-wall activities, the festival offers family-oriented fun for all ages. Activities include the fire ant calling contest, the giant fire ant maze, a carnival, arts and crafts, fireworks, bands, 5K run and 1-mile fun run, a BBQ cook-off, and much more! The dates of the 2025 Festival are:

We loved Dolly Parton so much that, back in 2022, we made her a Fire Ant Festival theme: Dolly Part-ANT! 🎤🐜

Today, as we remember the incredible life of Dolly Parton, we can't help but think back to the fun, laughter, and love that theme brought to our festival.

Dolly gave the world so much joy, kindness, music, and a whole lot of sparkle. We're proud that, for one little South Georgia festival, we got to put our own Fire Ant twist on an icon. ❤️

Thank you for the memories, Dolly. You will always have a special place in our hearts... and here at the Fire Ant Festival.
