PorchFest was founded in Ithaca, NY in September 2007 by neighbors Gretchen Hildreth and Lesley Greene. Over the years the concept of hosting performances on front porches, for an audience who moved from home to home, has grown with communities around the U.S. organizing PorchFests of all sizes. Asbury Park’s passionate connection to music along with its idyllic homes and porches make it an ideal town for our own annual PorchFest. 2022 is the 6th annual PorchFest! This family-friendly, FREE event features musicians from a wide variety of genres. Afternoon entertainment will include dozens of performers on porches throughout the city. Attendees will stroll from porch to porch and “camp out” on front lawns and sidewalks as they enjoy live, local talent.

After talking with Asbury Park city officials and police and being informed about the dangers of down powerlines we put your safety first and for the first time have postponed PorchFest this weekend. The city was kind enough to allow us to do it on Halloween October 31 with the rain date of November 7.

See you soon for a very spooky PorchFest! 🎃

“Last night I was made aware there has been talk that our logo is AI-generated. Our founding team would not knowingly use AI to create a logo, and in fact we paid a graphic designer; this is what we received and used. Thank you for bringing up the question to us, and want you to know we’re looking into it.” - Jordan

P.S. For now, the content will resume in this format (which we hope you don’t mind.) More details to come! 🤙
