Time to call your friends and make your plans for Thistle Day 2025- Argyle, NY.
You can spend the day checking out the foliage while you pick Apples at McWhorter's Orchard, Pick Potatoes at Goose Island Potatoes, Cruise back roads and check out all the local farm stands- there's even a guide here: https://washingtoncounty.fun/farm-stands.

BUT.........make sure you find your way to 10 Main Street by early afternoon for the Scottish games, wagon rides, dunking booth, food trucks and live Celtic rock music by Prydein. You might want to bring a comfy lawn chair and a sweatshirt so you can head back to the food trucks for a second course and enjoy the fireworks show and bonfire to wrap it all up!

Thistle Day activities kick off at noon and run until you feel you have put the summer of 2025 to bed.

Kilts are not required, but certainly appreciated!!!

We’re looking for a volunteer with a tractor who could tow our wagon rides at Thistle Day 2025- on September 27th.

Extra thanks if it’s a cool antique tractor.
Hours can be whatever you want to do between Noon and dark.

Thistle Day 2025- is a great opportunity to patronize all the local farmstands. You can also enjoy Apple picking at McWhorter's Orchard and potato 🥔 picking at Goose Island Potatoes in the morning, then get yourselves to #10 Main Street for the Throwing Games, hosted by Empire Throwing Club, Celtic Rock music from Prydein and lots of great local food trucks.
