We're proud to have 8 "Stanbury bands" in the Rose Parade this year! Today we feature California's legendary Arcadia HS, making their 17th Rose Parade appearance, more than any HS band in the history of the parade! One of the largest music programs in California, AHS has outstanding concert bands, a nationally-renown indoor drumline and compete at the highest levels in both field and street competitions. Based in Arcadia, California (just a few miles from Pasadena) and led by long-time friends of Stanbury Kevin Sherrill and Tom Plunkett, we're proud to count the Arcadia HS band as a great "Stanbury band"!

Our Saturday morning was brightened by the sunny skies, lively music, and hundreds of smiles from our performers at the 68th annual Arcadia Festival of Bands. The music began at 9 AM, continuing until the 39th band finished competing at 12:30. Congratulations to all the attending high school marching bands, their staff, and parents!

Hello Apache Marching Band and Color Guard Family! This has been a challenging year and we hope you are all staying healthy and doing well.

Due to COVID, we are disappointed that this year we cannot have our Annual Spaghetti Dinner Celebration LIVE in person, but don't worry you will still be able to enjoy the wonderful performances virtually this year!!

The Spaghetti Dinner performance video will be available on Saturday January 9, 2021, 6:00 PM at:

We would love for you to join us and you can even eat spaghetti or your favorite dinner while watching! Help us spread the word and invite all your friends, grandparents, and family to watch from the comfort of their own home. The virtual video will feature great performances from your students in Marching Band, Pep Band, Color Guard, Drumline, Senior Tribute, and much more.

You can also help make this a wonderfully successful fundraiser by donating any amount via Purple Pass. We would greatly appreciate ANY donations since this year we are not asking students to sell tickets or asking for volunteers to help. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

The Arcadia Band is now planning to return for the 2022 Rose Parade. Seniors who missed out this year because of the pandemic, will be welcomed back to march as alumni.
