Working on items for a show in November. I will be at Lake Eola the first weekend. We were gone for a month to see friends in Michigan and our son in Seattle but home for 2 weeks then up to Martha's Vineyard to see Stan's dad. I took lots of little projects with me. Little Scrappy Dolls, Cuff Cuffs, and pouches that I sewed on while Stan was fishing. More to come before we leave.

Getting ready for Isle of 8 Flags Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach May 1-3. Theme is always pirates so I made a pirate Scrappy Doll and a skull pillow from the short sleeves of a shirt. Also made a dress from that bright coral shirt and 2 other dresses from shirts that had skulls and palm trees. This is always a fun show.

A question I get asked all the time is, "If I bring you some shirts, can you make something out of them?" My answer is, "Yes, I've done many custom orders."
Since I live in Florida, I don't do shows during the summer. At my final show in last spring I received an order for 13 pillows. This customer wanted 5 of the pillows out of 3 shirts so I made these three and then mixed the bottoms for the other two.
