The Farm Folk Festival is an exciting, all-day event of Americana indie music and workshops by local artists, chefs, gardeners, craftsmen and musicians. This annual event takes place on a greenbelt that connects two important pieces of Anaheim history, The Packard Showroom and The Packing House, in celebration of Anaheim's agricultural heritage. In addition to live music, there will be workshops o

n garden mixology, farming, tin whistle playing, cigar box guitar making, vintage bicycle repair and more. Guests can rest on the grass of the outdoor amphitheater, stroll on the redwood boardwalk, buys plants and herbs from Fullerton Arboretum, snack on delicious treats from the gourmet food trucks or at Umami Burger and enjoy Anaheim Brewery craft beer on their tasting room patio.

On September 17, 2024, the partial lunar eclipse will begin at 6:40pm PT and will peak around 7:44pm. Partially shadowed, the Harvest Moon will rise at 7:00pm PT and be 100% illuminated at exactly 7:35pm. Ten minutes or so after the moon has kissed the horizon, the earth’s shadow will move on and the Harvest Moon, also a Super Moon, will be fully exposed to shine its lunar reflection of the sun onto our earth home.

The Harvest Full Moon will be in Pisces. Each sign of the zodiac has a verb associated with its essence that gives us a clue to the vast power vibrating from each. Pisces says “I believe” or “I imagine,” fueling the Piscean energy which is sensitive, compassionate, creative, dreamy and expansive. The moon represents our feelings, emotions, instinct, needs, habits, and relationship with self.

Tonight, is a good time to ask ourselves is there harmony between the Pisces and Moon energy in my life? For example, are you giving yourself permission to be sensitive? Are you honoring your creative instincts? How open is your heart to self-acceptance? If not, then commit to honoring your dreams and your heart empowered by the Harvest Super Dreamy Moon. What an epic night!! Tonight we celebrated Lughnasadh with a play, a parable for how to embrace and embody the lessons of this pagan Sabbat.

The six minute play is on my Substack page along with the recipe for this Sun bread, which was delish, just don’t call the GBBS on my decorating. I ran out of time 😆
