The largest single-day event in downtown Amherst organized by the Amherst Business Improvement District. Join us as we celebrate downtown Amherst!

The Celebrate Amherst Block Party brings over 6000 people into downtown Amherst for a four-hour period to eat, shop and have fun! The streets are blocked off and become an arena for street performers, local sports teams, dance performances, food from downtown restaurants, bubble tea spots, food court specialties and twenty three stages featuring live music and a DJ.

PARKING

There is free parking at the Amherst High School at 21 Mattoon Street

There is metered parking available at the Boltwood Parking area/Garage, CVS Parking Lot - accessible via Hallock St; the town lots and parking spaces around the town commons and the Amity Street parking area.
