Hey Everyone! I'm Maria Long, the Race Director for the Amery Fall Festival 5k and the Amery Turkey Trot, and the Owner of Brightside Running (run coaching).

I've lived in Amery for 7 years and have loved being a part of the running community here (.amery).

As the running community continues to grow in our small town, I'm honored to host these awesome events and I think you'll enjoy what we have in store for them both.

Isaiah M took first place overall with a time of 17:09!

Jaidyn McAlpine was our first place female with a time of 21:14!

Yes, there's snow on the trail, and YES, the Amery Turkey Trot is still on! The trail is lovely, we just continue to encourage you to watch your step - it's a trail afterall.

As for the wind, it should be better by morning. But the trail is nestled into the woods well enough that the wind is *mostly* blocked.

Dress like it's winter, see you in the morning!
