Cherry Hills Paints - Registration required

Location: Cherry Hills Branch Library - 6901 Barstow NE, Albuquerque, NM

Bring your own supplies (paints, paper, canvas). We'll always have brushes and paper paint palettes for your use. We'll also have fun prompts and ideas to share, or you're welcome to paint what you'd like. Registration required due to limited space, limited to 20.

Due to the nature of the material, we advise against the use of oil paint at the library. Any fast drying paint like watercolor, gouache, and acrylic are great! Other materials like oil pastels, chalks, pencils are also acceptable "painting" materials!

Participants will make their own petroglyphs using air dry clay, sculpting tools, and paint. For ages 9-12. Limited to 15 participants. This program is funded by the Friends of the Public Library.
