It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Alban Joseph Mwale, beloved father of our Chief Executive, Mr. Joseph Alban Mwale, who departed on 11th August 2025 in Zanzibar. The entire ZIFF family and Board of Directors extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Mwale and his family during this difficult time.

Mr. Mwale's legacy and influence will be remembered fondly within the film fraternity, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. We stand in solidarity with our CEO and his family, offering our unwavering support and assistance as they navigate this profound loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Mwale and his loved ones. May they find comfort in the cherished memories of their father and the love of those around them.
