近年來學校羽球風氣旺盛，因此想拓展這良好的風氣到附近社區，帶動周圍社區運動風氣，，給宜蘭縣民還有在校生有一個以球會友、交流的平台不但可以增加同學的眼界，同時在比賽過程中也可取他人之長，補己之短，讓自己的球技日益求進。
