Dear Caliente participants,
And just so, before you know it, Caliente has come and gone. For the ninth time. Which gives us something really special to look forward to: Caliente’s 10th birthday, which we will celebrate next year with all the extravagance and lavishness that it deserves. So keep Caliente in your hearts and in your calendars!
But before turning to our 10th anniversary, we would like to look back at this year’s ninth edition and say a big THANK YOU to all of you for joining, for dancing, and for contributing your energy and spirit to Caliente. The tango embraces were glowing with heated connection and the floor was always burning hot, exactly as it should be at a marathon called Caliente. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping make this event as special as it is.
Our gratitude goes to our wonderful DJs, whose music made this experience unforgettable. Thank you for your talent, artistry, and for always finding a way to squeeze a few more tandas out of our tired feet.
A special thank you to our photographers, who captured the memories that will stay with us until the next Caliente. Your beautiful photos have already filled social media and brought so many magical moments back to life.
We would also like to thank our vendors for bringing color, style, and elegance to the ballroom, and our amazing assistants, whose hard work, energy, and dedication helped everything run smoothly from beginning to end.
There is a special group of young men who really truly made a difference this year. They are our assistants. Not only did they step up when it comes to setting up the ballroom, helping with the lights and the floor, aiding DJs, starting milongas, and ending milongas; they also joined the dance and organized after-parties that lasted until the sun came up. Thank you, guys, for everything.
Caliente will be back next year for our big, round 10th anniversary. Make sure you reserve your spot — we would love to see you there! The dates and hotel will be announced very soon.
Until then, happy dancing!
Yours,
Caliente Team
