*** OVER £40,000 RAISED AT LAMMACK LIVE ***
With some moneis still to come in the final total raised by Lammack Live will exceed £40,000. Every single person who volunteered, attended or played at the event contributed to this fantastic total. The three charities and the organising committee are humbled by this amount and the efforts of so many people.
Rob Quail, who won the car, has decided to re raffle it for Theo and what a wonderful gesture that is. And the elderly couple who live next door to the site, and were really concerned, sent us a lovely letter commending the event and a £20 donation today. There is only one blackspot.
At 3am this morning the Hare and Hounds was raided by professional thieves who smashed the lock on the back door and proceeded to go to the places where we stored the charity money each day. They are on CCTV with masks, gloves, tools and bags expecting to steal the charity money. Unfortunately for them the cash was removed daily and all they got were empty tills and some float money.
We won't let these people detract from the efforts and contributions of so many people across the town and all the bands, artists and tributes who gave their performances free. We can't thank you guys enough.
Here's to Lammack Live 2017!
