no nonsense Thai Trail Championships Presented by Mama 2025 : Epilogue
The results reminded us why we do this.
It wasn’t our biggest field, but it might have been our sharpest. From bib pick-up to the last finisher, the intent was unmistakable.
If last year was about proving what we could build together, this year was about refining it. Success is how we work together, how fairly we compete, how well we respond to crises, and how generously we support one another. By these measures, 2025 TTRC is a success with significant momentum to carry forward.
Around the athletes, volunteers kept their hands steady. Supporters turned road corners into choruses and gave courage to tired legs. That’s the alchemy that turns a race into a gathering, and a gathering into a memory.
And in a first for us, association committee members didn’t just plan, they raced, helped, and led (or followed) from the course itself. That tightened the weave of our community in the best possible way.
To every athlete, road runners, triathletes, trail specialists defending home ground, and veterans giving the race their signature steadiness, we thank you for honouring the course and each other.
To the volunteers: you are the lynchpin, the artery of this body and words cannot describe how grateful we are for your involvement.
To supporters and viewers: thank you for every shout, every clap, every hug, every comment, every quiet gesture that didn’t make a headline.
To the committee who stepped into the arena (both figuratively and literally): welcome, and please stay a while longer.
We close this edition with full hearts and higher standards. The trail is doing what it always does: revealing what’s next. See you there.

สุดสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา TTRC ได้มาย้ำเตือนว่า เราทำสิ่งนี้ไปเพื่ออะไร
ถึงแม้จำนวนผู้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันอาจไม่ได้มีจำนวนมากเท่าปีก่อน แต่ก็เป็นการรักษามาตรฐานของสนามไว้อย่างเหนียวแน่น สถิติบางรายการที่ดีขึ้น ความกระชับของผลการแข่งขันในบางรายการที่สูงขึ้น เป็นสัญญาณอันดีว่าระดับของการแข่งขันยังคงอยู่ พร้อมกับการก้าวขึ้นมาของหน้าใหม่ พร้อมกับที่ขอบสนาม กองเชียร์ก็ทำให้ขาที่หมดแรงเพิ่มความเร็วได้ เหมือนเวทมนตร์ที่ทำให้ “สนามแข่งขัน” กลายเป็น “บ้าน” ที่มีความทรงจำอันอบอุ่น
ถ้าปีที่แล้วคือการพิสูจน์ว่า ความร่วมมือสามารถสร้างอะไรได้ ปีนี้คือการปรับให้ดีขึ้น สร้างความร่วมมือที่มากขึ้น เจตนาที่ชัดขึ้น ระบบที่แน่นขึ้น การตัดสินใจไวขึ้น ความสำเร็จของเราอาจไม่ใช่ความสมบูรณ์แบบร้อยเปอร์เซ็นต์ เพราะเส้นทางเทรลไม่เคยมีสิ่งนั้น แต่คือการรับมือที่ดี และการสนับสนุนกันอย่างเต็มที่ และด้วยมาตรวัดนี้เอง ทำให้ 2025 TTRC คือความสำเร็จที่จะส่งแรง ให้เราได้พัฒนาตอ่ไป
ขอบคุณนักกีฬาทุกคน ทั้งสายถนน สายไตรฯ ที่มาร่วมวัดฝีเท้าในเกมส์ใหม่ๆ สายเทรลที่ขอสู้ตาย และรุ่นใหญ่ที่มาแสดงให้เห็นว่า "ความคงเส้นคงวา" หน้าตาเป็นอย่างไร รวมถึงการแข่งขันอย่างให้เกียรติและเคารพกันเสมอ
ขอบคุณหัวใจของทีมอาสาสมัครทุกคน ที่กระจายตัวทั่วทั้งสนามแข่งขัน ทั้งทีมถ่ายทอดสด ทีมสวัสดิการ และทีมภาคสนาม ที่เริ่มงานก่อนเช้าทั้งสองวัน ปฏิบัติงานสร้างสรรค์ ดูแล แก้ปัญหาจำนวนมากแบบเงียบ ๆ แต่ให้พลังที่ทุกคนในสนามสัมผัสได้
และขอบคุณกองเชียร์ทุกคน ทั้งผู้ติดตามชมการถ่ายทอด Live ทางบ้าน และที่สนามแข่งขัน เพราะทุกอ้อมกอด ทุกเสียงปรบมือ ทุกเสียงตะโกน ทุก comment มีส่วนในชัยชนะเล็ก ๆ ของนักกีฬาอย่างมหาศาล
ขอบคุณคณะกรรมการสมาคมฯ ที่ลงสู่สนามจริงกันเกือบยกทีม แม้เหน็ดเหนื่อย แต่ไม่ย่อท้อและเต็มไปด้วยรอยยิ้ม - ยินดีต้อนรับ และอยากให้มาบ่อย ๆ
เราปิดฉากปีนี้ด้วยหัวใจที่มากดวงขึ้น และมาตรฐานที่สูงขึ้น เส้นทางเทรล แม้จะไม่เคยเหมือนเดิม แต่ยังทำหน้าที่เดิมเสมอ คือพาเราไปสู่สิ่งต่อไป แล้วเจอกันบนเทรลครับ/ค่ะ

2025 Race Results
Up-Down set the tone.
A star triathlete chased a trail specialist to the tape. Second and third were split by milliseconds at 55:40, where Paul Dunn won in 53:42. Women also kept it honest. Ratchadaporn Kornpachok took the win in 1:13:51. The podium stayed close at 1:15:40 and 1:16:25. Good, clean racing and much tighter than last year.
In the Uphill, the only sub-1 hour climbers Ivan Vlasenko won in 59:44. Paul Dunn was second in 1:01:58. Naruebodin Wuttiphiang was third in 1:02:55 and the fastest Thai this year. Women delivered too. Phitchanan Mahachot took the win in 1:17:10, with Umaporn Loongsor and Pimvalee Athonvarangkul next in 1:18:33 and 1:29:33 respectively.
Short-Trail told a different story,
but it was equally exciting. Atthapol Intajak won in 4:06:48, a dominant display of power and staying power. Seksan Jakkaew and Paul Dunn filled the podium in 4:19:31 and 4:27:00.
Women answered, too. Phitchanan Mahachot won in 5:27:01. Second and third finished together at 5:50:34 and 5:50:35. The top end of the field may not be as packed as last year; many top names were missing.
The committee stepped in. Many flew up from Bangkok. They took radios, checkpoints, video cameras and logistics. Volunteers and supporters carried the rest. The event felt tight and fair. We leave with higher standards. See you next year!
