Thai Craftsmanship on the Global Stage — Milan Design Week 2026
One of the key highlights of Milan Design Week 2026 is the exhibition by Dior Maison. This year, the House unveils the 'Corolle' lamp designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, inspired by the iconic lines of the 'New Look' created by Christian Dior in 1947. The exhibition is held at Palazzo Landriani in the Brera district.
A true source of pride is the spatial installation created by Thai artist “Korakot Aromdee", who drew inspiration from the garden of Monsieur Dior’s childhood home, Villa Les Rhumbs in Granville. The space has been transformed into an exquisite artisanal garden.
This work reflects the profound potential of Thai craftsmanship through the use of local materials, meticulous attention to detail, and creative vision—seamlessly combined into a piece of international caliber. It conveys both the spirit of the artist and the dedication of Thai artisans in a deeply compelling way.
This achievement is the result of strong collaboration and network integration across multiple sectors, including Wasana Saima and teams of skilled artisans from across Thailand—such as Nan, Trat, Yasothon, Ang Thong, Narathiwat, Sakon Nakhon, Nong Khai, Phatthalung, Satun, Trang, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phayao, Phrae, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Nakhon Sawan, and Ayutthaya province —as well as production teams from the OTOP Premium Go Inter by DITP initiative and the Talent Thai program. Together, they have created a body of work that showcases Thai craftsmanship to the world.

งานคราฟต์ฝีมือคนไทยในเวทีโลก — Milan Design Week 2026
หนึ่งในไฮไลต์สำคัญของ Milan Design Week 2026 คือ นิทรรศการจาก Dior Maison ซึ่งปีนี้นำเสนอผลงานโคมไฟ 'Corolle' ออกแบบโดย Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเส้นสายของ 'New Look' อันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ โดย Christian Dior ในปี 1947 จัดแสดง ณ Palazzo Landriani ย่าน Brera
สิ่งที่น่าภาคภูมิใจอย่างยิ่ง คือ การตกแต่งพื้นที่ภายในนิทรรศการด้วยผลงานของศิลปินไทย “คุณกรกต อารมย์ดี”
Korakot aromdee Design ซึ่งได้ถ่ายทอดแรงบันดาลใจจากสวนภายในบ้านของคุณ Christian Dior ที่ Villa Les Rhumbs เมือง Granville ออกมาเป็นสวนหัตถศิลป์อันงดงาม
ผลงานครั้งนี้สะท้อนศักยภาพของงานหัตถศิลป์ไทยอย่างลึกซึ้ง ผ่านการใช้วัสดุพื้นถิ่น ความประณีตในรายละเอียด และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่หลอมรวมกันเป็นผลงานระดับสากล ถ่ายทอดจิตวิญญาณของศิลปิน และความมุ่งมั่นของช่างฝีมือไทยได้อย่างน่าประทับใจ
ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ เกิดจากการที่คุณกรกตได้เชื่อมโยงเครือข่าย และความร่วมมือของหลายภาคส่วน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคุณวาสนา สายมา ทีมช่างฝีมือจากทั่วทุกภูมิภาคของประเทศไทย อาทิ น่าน ตราด ยโสธร อ่างทอง นราธิวาส สกลนคร หนองคาย พัทลุง สตูล ตรัง ราชบุรี เพชรบุรี นครศรีธรรมราช พะเยา แพร่ เชียงใหม่ เชียงราย ลำพูน นครสวรรค์ และอยุธยา ฯลฯ รวมถึงทีมผู้ผลิตจากโครงการ OTOP Premium Go Inter by DITP และ Talent Thai ที่ร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชิ้นนี้ให้เป็นที่ประจักษ์ในสายตานานาชาติ
