Today’s students are tomorrow’s decision-makers in the kitchen. The habits they develop during their vocational training will directly shape the future of the food sector — not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of sustainability. Through SustainaKit, we aim to support VET educators and learners by integrating sustainability, responsible consumption, and awareness of food waste into culinary education. This means going beyond technical skills: students are encouraged to reflect on where ingredients come from, how they are used, and how to minimise waste in everyday practice. A new generation of conscious professionals is in the making… stay tuned!
