Books & Treats Books & Treats is a local traveling book swap event with art & crafts in Singapore aimed at children aged 4 to 12 years old.

A mother-daughter initiative (created by Yvonne & Sarah) aimed to inspire kids to fall in love with reading! We are a travelling book community doing book swops with art & crafts in Singapore 📚🎨

Books and Treats was birth from a love and enjoyment for reading and books. We want to inspire children ages 8 to 12 to fall in love with reading. If we can encourage and create a positive association with reading, we give young children a lifetime of fun and adventure!

Throwback to how we like to spend our Saturdays! ✨📚

These days, our phones rarely leave our hands—screens glow late into the night, stories are told in short clips, and even our quiet moments are filled with endless scrolling. Somewhere along the way, the sound of pages turning and the spark of a child’s imagination got a little quieter.

At Books & Treats, we’re here to bring that magic back - through real books, messy crafts, laughter, and connection that doesn’t need WiFi. 💛📚🤩

As we plan for 2026, we are looking to collaborate with more spaces and people who share our hope of going back to simpler days: community hubs, cafés, bookstores, schools, and fellow creatives who believe in slow moments and meaningful play.

We went down to decorate for the upcoming SG60 Family Day event! It was the most relaxing therapeutic time on a chill Saturday sitting with papers, craft, glue, creativity, the best music playlist, and some good friends!
