The Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) Congress (AOSC) is a biennial congress held in Singapore

The Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) will host the 15th edition of the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Congress (APOC) at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 6-8 November 2026. APOC 2026 will bring together practitioners, researchers, and industry partners from across the region. It will serve as a vital platform for uniting the Asian-Pacific orthodontic community through education, collaboration, and professional development.

Nikhillesh Vaiid is the Immediate Past President of the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is an Adjunct Professor at Saveetha Dental College, Chennai, and maintains private practices in Dubai and Mumbai.

An internationally recognised orthodontist, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of APOS Trends in Orthodontics and has published over 160 peer-reviewed papers and textbook chapters. He has lectured extensively at major global forums, including at the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session (AAO) and International Orthodontic Congress (IOC).

Eric Liou holds a DDS from Taipei Medical University and a Master of Science in Surgery from Chang Gung University. Based in Taipei, Taiwan, he is Associate Professor at Chang Gung University and Vice Superintendent of DentWay International Dental Hospital.

An internationally recognised orthodontist, he specialises in craniofacial orthodontics and cleft care, and has served as President of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists, the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society, and the World Implant Orthodontic Association.

Dr Sumit Yadav is Endowed Chair & Professor of Orthodontics and Associate Dean of Research at UNMC College of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital. He has published over 160 peer-reviewed papers and receives research funding from the NIH and the American Association of Orthodontic Foundation.

He will be speaking on
Skeletal Anchorage Systems in the Orthodontic Management of Complex Malocclusions: Transverse and Vertical Considerations and Predictable Treatment of Impacted Canines: Clinical Pearls and Pitfalls.
