NUSS Sustainability Chapter Hosts Insightful Green Career Panel

The NUSS Sustainability Chapter hosted a Green Career panel discussion on 14 November 2024. Leaders from various fields—Adrian Wong (Herbert Smith Freehills Prolegis), Kenneth Kong (KBR), and Dr. Andre Nobre (SERIS/NUS) shared their career journeys, motivations, and essential skills for green careers. Moderated by Jasmine Choo (Shell), the discussion inspired attendees, with one student even securing an internship.

The NUSS Sustainability Chapter, led by Lim Swee Kim under the Intellectual Pursuit sub-committee chaired by Soh Yi Da, was established less than a year ago through a task force led by Kuan-Thye Sean. The Chapter organizes monthly events and activities related to sustainability, including expert forums, nature walks, site visits, hands-on activities, and educational workshops in collaboration with ClimateFresk.
