Bringing the sounds and sights of the “Matsuri” (Festival) and the traditional music of Taiko from all across Japan, Hibiki II will take you on a journey from the East, West and islands of Japan all the way back to Singapore. With pieces of music dating back 450 years to the contemporary Taiko music of today, be ready to hear and see drums of all sizes, the Japanese flute or fue, Narimono (metalli

c percussion), traditional dance, Shishimai (the lion dance) and the wonderful Shamisen. Come and enjoy the visual and aural feast brought to you by Tenko, Singapore’s Premier Taiko Ensemble. TENKO is a Japanese Taiko Drum group in Singapore, which started as a family Taiko group. Now the group is a lot bigger with members from different nationality and races, but all with a passion for Taiko.
