We know the past 1 month of Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) has been a tough time for all our fitness enthusiasts — with gyms closed and workouts to be replaced by outdoor training.

But outdoor training isn’t any less effective. In fact, we have seen more people embracing the weighted vest workout via our campaign.

And now with the gyms re-opened — it is time to show what you’ve got at the RED-X Community Fitness Challenge. The workout? The MURPH.

Compete in a gym between 1 July - 4 July, or support virtually from 1 July - 14 July — the choice is yours. Choose from one of our few Satellite gym locations, or compete at our Marquee site — Mobilus @ Clarke Quay — which boasts a scenic running route along Raffles Place.

In line with the upcoming Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day, we want to support National Service as a Social Movement — for what is a country if we are not able to defend it for our family and all that we love?

[Guards]

The SAF’s Guardsmen are elite infantrymen specialising in rapid deployment, and are proficient in special techniques such as hover-jump, heli-rappelling and fast-roping.

To become a Guardsman, soldiers must undergo the gruelling Guards Conversion Course or Guards Advanced Continuation Training before they may don the khaki beret and put on the Guards tab.
The SAF Guardsmen: Truly a unique breed of elite warriors.

[Military Defence Is The Bedrock Of Any Country]

For any country, Military Defence is about building a strong and formidable defence force that makes potential aggressors think twice before attack. That is deterrence at its best.

If you cannot even haul your combat equipment without panting - don’t talk about defending your country. Military Defence, at its most raw state, is what gives strength to the nation and provide the security and peace we all enjoy.
