Formerly known as the Japanese Karaoke Club (formed in 1985) and J-Music Circle (since 2005), the NUS Japanese Music Club (JMC) strives to bring enthusiasts together to enjoy a variety of Japanese music, including pop, rock, anime and Vocaloid. Our major events include the highly successful NUS J-Rock Festival 2006, co-organised with the Japanese Studies Society, and the RE:JM concert held in 2016

. As of 2017, JMC also aims to nurture and develop our own talents in the areas of singing and performance through various opportunities and events. Our gatherings are where our members can learn more about the various genres of Japanese music and start projects with other like-minded individuals! So, if you are an avid fan of Japanese music, do join us today \(^-^)/

Hey everyone! The new AY is about to start, and with it comes the annual Student Life Fair! Passionate about music? Want to meet like-minded people or learn more about Japanese Music (and maybe form a band like in Bocchi and K-On!!)? Then come on down and check us out at our booth on 17th and 18th August!

We welcome anyone with an interest in Japanese music, no commitment expected :D (unless you’re slated to perform at our events of course)
