Welcome to BPR Cycling Club! 🚴‍♀️❤️🇸🇬

About BPR:

Established in 2020, BPR is the largest all bike cycling club - A full member of the Singapore Cycling Federation with over 3,000 active members focused on promoting passion for cycling and making a positive impact to our community. BPR is a self-funded cycling club that relies on the co-sponsorship and support of our dedicated leaders and partner

s who lead, organize and manage club promotion, events, rides & member engagement. We firmly believe in the principle of giving & leading by example, we believe that generosity begets more generosity. Our leaders, volunteers, and sponsors are driven by their love for cycling and our community. We extend a warm invitation for you to join us in making a greater collective impact.❤️

Our Mission:

At BPR Cycling Club, our shared mission revolves around our deep passion for cycling and bicycles. We are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and compassionate community where cyclists of all skill levels, irrespective of the brand, make, or model of their bikes, are encouraged and inspired to continually improve and reach their full potential in their cycling endeavors. History:

Our group, formerly known as , had its humble beginnings with just 2 Birdy bike enthusiasts crossed paths while searching for fellow cyclists in Pasir Ris to ride alongside. Without fail, week after week, the group embarked on new cycling routes, exploring all corners of Singapore. These rides became a beacon of light during the gloomy days of the global pandemic. In late 2021, driven by various reasons, we decided to rebrand the group as BPR. This change symbolized our expansion beyond Birdy bikes and Pasir Ris, opening our doors to cyclists from all across Singapore, regardless of their bike makes and brands. Our rides have been filled with incredible fun, laughter, and joy, fostering a unique camaraderie within the group that's truly unmatched in any other cycling community we've encountered! BPR, which once stood for an identity we had to relinquish in the face of adversity, has now evolved to hold a more profound significance. It embodies the spirit of a cycling force dedicated to propelling cyclists Beyond Personal Record (BPR), all the while fostering enduring positive changes in our community through the development of building personal relationships among our members.

BPR Training Ride 29.06.26

Great turnout tonight with many new and familiar faces! It was unfortunate that we had a crash where a rider in the middle of the peloton hit a large object on the road. Thankfully, the group was riding at a controlled pace, otherwise more riders behind could have been involved.

This incident could have been easily avoided if everyone did their part by calling out road hazards—especially objects in the middle of the road. At the same time, all riders should keep their eyes on the road ahead and not just focus on the wheel in front or look down.

A few other observations from tonight:

1. There should never be three riders riding abreast. If you’re unable to maintain the pace, move to the back immediately. Don’t wait for someone to create a gap for you. Staying in the middle effectively blocks the riders’ escape route if there’s an incident ahead.
2. Please do not join Group 2 if you are unable to take a proper pull at around 40 km/h, or if you have no intention of pulling. Slowing significantly at the front creates a dangerous accordion effect that riders behind may not have enough time to react to.
3. Riders on the front left who need to slow down or drop off should move into the cycling lane first. Remaining on the outer left forces everyone behind to overtake you, which can push the group into the next lane and unnecessarily increase the risk for everyone.

This is a training ride, not a race. There are no prizes for crossing the finish line first. We encourage everyone to push themselves and improve, but always in a safe and disciplined manner. If you see someone riding recklessly, remember that you always have the choice not to follow.

Let’s continue to look out for one another, enjoy the ride, and most importantly, make sure everyone gets home safely.

BPR TMCR Training Ride – 22.06.26

Great to see everyone out tonight, especially so many new and younger faces joining the ride! We were fortunate that the rain cleared just in time, giving us pleasant weather despite the challenging headwinds.

It was also wonderful to welcome back some of our MIA riders and have the group together again.

Wishing all riders competing in the National Championships this week the very best. Ride strong, stay safe, and enjoy the experience. Good luck! 🚴💨🏆

BPR TMCR Training Ride 25.05.26

It’s been a while since we had a steady rolling ride today with Groups 2, 3, and 4. Plenty of chats and good catch-ups along the way — really nice riding with everyone again. We should definitely do more of these!

Also, a big thank you to everyone for the support towards the new BPR skinsuit! Looking forward to see you all in the new kit in July!
