39th World Youth Goe Championship

🌟 The 39th World Youth Go Championship has come to a wonderful close, and what an incredible journey it has been! In the U18 Senior group, we saw thrilling matches between Ma Changhao from China and Kim Tae Heon from Korea, as well as Xu Xiaofan from Singapore against Yu-Hao Cheng from Chinese Taipei. In the U12 Junior group, Zhang Yimiao from China took on Hong-You Lin from Chinese Taipei, while Ryan Zhang from the UK faced Park Tae Jun from Korea.

Final standings:

U18: 1st place - Kim Tae Heon (Korea), 2nd place - Ma Changhao (China), 3rd place - Yu-Hao Cheng (Chinese Taipei), 4th place - Xu Xiaofan (Singapore).
U12: 1st place - Zhang Yimiao (China), 2nd place - Hong-You Lin (Chinese Taipei), 3rd place - Park Tae Jun (Korea), 4th place - Ryan Zhang (UK).
We’re incredibly proud of all the young players who poured their hearts into each match. Announcement: 39th World Youth Go Championship Update

The 39th World Youth Go Championship took place in Vatra Dornei, Romania, from August 25 to 30. Originally scheduled for 5 rounds, the tournament experienced a change on August 27 when the representative of the Ing Chang-Ki Wei-Ch'i Educational Foundation announced the cancellation of the 5th round.

The semifinals and finals are scheduled for Thursday, August 29, and the games will be broadcasted live on OGS. Don't miss the chance to watch these exciting matches unfold!
