“If we didn’t suffer, if we had just lives as 80% of people do, we would not have had the experiences that we had and we would have nothing to say as artists, we would have nothing to transfer then on both to the viewer and to the audience.

For a year, every week, we handpicked one song, one visual artwork (including photos), and one poem and shared them with you.

We grew together from 300 subscribers to almost 7000.

Because emails have a length limit, we selected the best works that we shared in 2025 and compiled them into a single file for easier reference. Free access

Once you’ve been on earth long enough (on human-life scale), you learn a few things.

Hopefully.

You learn how to learn. You learn that you can’t learn everything, so you learn what to learn. You learn to unlearn. You learn learning is bad if done too much (hello Faust).

You learn how to be.

A lot of it doesn’t make any sense, but some of it does, or we just pretend.

One of my best friends became dad last week. That made me think about the things I learned in 30 years of being here and what I would pass to my kids.

Here is to my friend Adrian and his daughter Iris.

leelchine (Anastasia Organ) is a Moldovan-born singer-songwriter with a deep love for poetry. Her music gravitates around understanding the substance of human emotion in all its plethora of colours.

leelchine envelops love into indie-soul vibrations, with jazzy notes and bittersweet lyrics. She affirms: "If my story touches one soul only, I want it to be forever."

Alexandra creates poetry in motion - written on napkins, found in train stations, recited in parks of randomly chosen cities - because more often than not, she's less of a writer and more of a recycling machine for emotionally charged scraps.

Her work focuses on the relationship between individual and environment, how they influence and degrade each other, and the impact of passivity on this exchange. What you saw and walked past. What words got stuck in your throat. What could they have changed?

Alexandra has qualified for the National Slam Championship semifinals twice, competed in the 2024 Transylvania Spoken Word Festival Slam Finals, and practices street poetry whenever she gets the chance.

[RO]

Welcome Cluj Highlight Artist 2025 ✨️

Maria Ungureanu is an architecture student in Cluj-Napoca who pursues every artistic opportunity that comes her way, including spoken word poetry. She discovered performance poetry two years ago and has been hooked ever since, never missing an event and always ready to captivate her audience.

She's performed on stages throughout Romania—in Cluj, Bucharest, and Satu Mare—and has also taken her work to audiences in the Netherlands and Slovakia.

She's earned podium finishes at three spoken word slams organized by the Transylvania International Spoken Word Festival and Decopertat Cluj, and has even brought this art form to an exhibition at the Romanian Creative Week festival.

[RO]
