Directors at work! 🎶

PRFF Executive Director Janice Santiago and Artistic Director Beatriz Macias had an incredible 3 days full of music and community at the 6th and final edition of the Tampere Flute Fest in Finland 🇫🇮.

Congratulations to the TFF Team for a successful event and we wish the best as you begin your new journey with the 1st Tallinn Flute Festival in 2028! 👏

For now, we look forward to seeing you all at the 2027 Puerto Rico Flute Festival, celebrating with the magical theme of “Odyssey” ✨

Meet Josué Casillas!✨ 🇵🇷

Hi! I’m Josué Casillas, PRFF’s Collaboration Liaison, also known as on social media.📸

Outside of PRFF, I am the Principal Flutist of the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra since 2004 and Flute Professor of the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico since 2007. Additionally, I am proud to be a Artist🎶

I’m looking forward to seeing this second edition of “Odyssey” unfold while I’m part of it. For me, PRFF is a dream come true.✨

Meet Bryan García Rolón!🤩

Hello! I’m , Young Soloist Award Coordinator for PRFF 2027🇵🇷

Within the festival, I will be leading the design and organization of the YSA, ensuring that all participants continue to enjoy the process and have a positive experience✨

Outside of PRFF, I am a professional musician and piccolo player with the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra. I also enjoy cycling and coffee tasting - discovering flavor profiles, aromas, and nuances is a practice that reminds me how attention to detail defines artistic excellence!☕️

I hope this edition of PRFF inspires each participant to prepare with intention, embrace new challenges, and live an experience that strengthens their musical growth.🎶

I am truly grateful to be part of this team and to contribute to the continued growth of the festival.✨

As a flutist and arts advocate, I’m passionate about projects that create meaningful connections through music. I’m also the co-founder of , a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles that provides free access to music education to underserved youth. ✨

Being part of PRFF is an opportunity to contribute to a community that celebrates collaboration, learning, and the shared love of the flute. I’m looking forward to everything we’re creating together for PRFF 2027 “Odyssey” - stay tuned! 🤩
