🇩🇪🤯🏙️The Astra Tower was an iconic building in Hamburg, Germany. Completed in 1971, it became an icon of the St. Pauli neighborhood. It housed a brewery that was later acquired by another company, leading to the relocation of its offices. Despite promises of renovation, the tower was demolished in 2005. Although its reconstruction was planned, the new building that took its place was completed in 2007. It pays homage to the original structure but doesn't offer the same gravity-defying feel, becoming a contemporary symbol of the city. Its legacy lives on through the Astra beer brand, which remains very popular in the region.
