UK Casting Director searching for an excellent violinist aged 17-21 years for a
role in a feature film. The character is a confident Polish young man, and will
need to speak English with a Polish accent. Some acting will be required.

UK Casting Director Kirsty Kinnear is casting a feature film called The Song of Names, directed by Francois Girard (The Red Violin) and produced by Robert Lantos (Eastern Promises, Crash) and starring Tim Roth and Clive Owen.
We are looking for the role of JOSEF WECHSLER, a young Polish man (17-21 yrs), who is a virtuoso violinist. We would like to cast genuine Polish, although he is speaking English in the couple of scenes he has. He is a very confident and quite arrogant character so we are looking for someone who would feel at ease with this. This character would be needed from the 8-16th of October (although these dates could change a bit), and in the last schedule it was 3 non consecutive shooting days for this role. We are shooting in Budapest and it is a lovely role.
