The Annual Nationwide Search for the Math Wizard (also known as Math Wizard) is UP Math Club’s flagship event.

The CHED Auditorium photobooth has officially initalized and completed its memories from the 52nd Annual Nationwide Search for the Math Wizard. Guests and participants can now relive more moments, smiles, and math code-breaking magic captured during the event.

Wwe revisit the stage where the system tested the 15 strongest contenders. The Sorcerer Round demanded deeper reasoning, sharper intuition, and the ability to adapt under increasing complexity.

This round defined who could sustain performance under the system's pressure, and who would advance to the Wizard round.

A month on, the Apprentice Round is revisited as the stage where the competition began to take its true shape. From 30 participants, only 15 advanced into the system; each having met a higher standard of consistency, control, and precision.

The system demanded more.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 🏆

Four days after the 52nd Math Wizard concluded, Alvann Walter W. Paredes Dy of the University of the Philippines Diliman emerged as the champion.

In a competition defined by precision and pressure, it all came down to one final answer: 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝟯. A fitting end—reminding everyone involved that at the core of every complex equation and difficult problem lies a genuine love for mathematics.

We congratulate Alvann on this achievement and recognize every participant whose courage and dedication shaped this year’s search. The signal is clear: the passion for mathematics continues.
