Join us as we officially kick off the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month on July 1, 2025 (Tuesday) with a Poster Making Contest that celebrates the creativity and advocacy of our young learners!

Time: 8:30 AM

Where: Tagbilaran City Hall Atrium

Theme: KKDAT (Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo) – Highlighting the youth’s vital role in building a drug-free and terrorism-resilient community.

This exciting event, organized by the Tagbilaran City Police Station, will feature selected elementary pupils from Tagbilaran City public schools, who will turn their visions of peace, safety, and resilience into powerful artwork.

TCPS RUN 2025: A Resounding Success with Over 1,500 Runners who Supported a Worthy Cause

Tagbilaran City, Bohol – The TCPS RUN 2025 wrapped up triumphantly on March 9, 2025, as over 1,500 runners from various sectors and organizations came together in support of a meaningful cause. Organized by the Tagbilaran City Police Station, the charity run aimed to raise funds for the Pabahay Project in Brgy. Tiptip and the Adopted School Program under the TCPS C.A.R.E.S. initiative.

The event would not have been possible without the strong support of the Local Government Unit of Tagbilaran City, led by Mayor Jane C. Yap, as well as the municipalities of Baclayon and Corella, where part of the race route passed. The LGUs of these towns provided crucial assistance, ensuring the safety of runners through route security and medical support, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration in the name of public service.

“The overwhelming participation and unwavering support from our community prove that this is more than just a race—it is a collective effort to create lasting change. Each runner, sponsor, and organizer played a vital role in making this event a success. This is the true essence of ‘Bayanihan,’ and together, we are running towards a better future,” said PLTCOL JOHN KAREEN OLIVEROS ESCOBER, Chief of Police of Tagbilaran City.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to Ms. Ace Jess Ejoc, Race Director, and PEMS Carl John C Legaspi, PCR PNCO, who spearheaded the meticulous planning and ex*****on of the event. Their dedication, along with the hard work of the entire organizing committee, ensured the smooth conduct of the run.

The proceeds from TCPS RUN 2025 will soon be turned over to the beneficiaries, and updates on the progress of the Pabahay Project and Adopted School Program will be shared in the coming weeks.
