In his words, remember to be kind to yourself amidst the blaring chaos brought upon by uncertainty. Stepping out of the four-cornered wall of the classroom may seem scary, but it is the first step to learning.

As reminded by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐆𝐞𝐥𝐮𝐳, "Always remember that you shine through your character. You nurture people through your care. You transform dreams through education. You advance life through purposeful action." The single, scary step taken towards your dream is the catalyst to trigger change. Your actions going forward shall be determined by your prophecy to spread your light as the molders of the future.

Today, we proudly recognize our BS Psychology students as they receive their pins and celebrate this occasion with their fellow students, professors, and loved ones. It is a pleasure to witness them take this step in their academic journey as they continue to prepare for the field they have chosen.

The study of psychology goes beyond understanding theories and human behavior. It also requires a willingness to listen, an openness to different perspectives, and respect for the experiences of others. The Association of Competent and Aspiring Psychologists (ACAP) and the Guild of Imporous and Valuable Educators (GIVE) of PUP Santa Rosa Campus will hold their Pinning Ceremony on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, organized by the campus administration under the theme “SINAGTALA: Shining with Integrity, Nurturing Growth, Transforming Aspirations, and Advancing Lives through Action.” The ceremony will celebrate the senior students of the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Secondary Education programs as they receive their pins and mark an important milestone in their academic journeys.

As part of this meaningful occasion, we look forward to welcoming our guest performers, the PUPSRC Chorale, who will contribute to the ceremony through their musical performances. They will begin with “Invocation: The Prayer,” followed by the Philippine National Anthem, and conclude their performance with the PUP Hymn after the closing remarks to be delivered by Ms. Jesellie Pastolero-Tripoli and Mr. Raymund Mindanao. We look forward to their performances and thank them for sharing their talents and being part of this important event.
