CREDOHUB Strengthens Expertise in NGO Financial Management at the Financial Stewardship for NGOs Seminar
Credohub Inc. proudly participated in the Financial Stewardship for NGOs Seminar held on June 24–26, 2026 at PICPA House – Davao Chapter, Davao City. The three-day learning event was co-organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), PICPA Foundation, Inc., and the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), bringing together finance professionals, nonprofit leaders, board members, executive directors, finance officers, and public practitioners who serve NGOs and non-profit organizations to promote accountability, good governance, and sustainability in the sector.
The 3-day seminar featured distinguished resource speakers including Dr. Rufo R. Mendoza, CPA, President of Upright Consulting; Maria Lourdes G. Arroyo, CPA, Management Services Manager of Peace and Equity Foundation, Inc.; Dr. Lo**ta P. Tang, CPA, Executive Director of PICPA Foundation, Inc.; and Rosallie Dimaano, Vice Chairperson of Haribon Foundation for the Conservation of Natural Resources, Inc. Participants also gained valuable insights from Venture for Fund Raising and Myriad USA, whose representatives shared international best practices on fundraising, resource mobilization, and nonprofit sustainability.
Throughout the seminar, participants explored key areas of nonprofit financial management, including nonprofit financial fundamentals, strategic financial planning and budgeting, revenue diversification, cost and expense management, financial risk management, financial reporting and stakeholder communication, and emerging trends in nonprofit finance. The discussions provided practical guidance on strengthening financial stewardship, ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing governance, and building financially sustainable organizations.
