This is a [6] six week clinic that will feature individual skill work, team tactical skill and Character development. We also limiting the slots available. ,Intermediate,Advanced ~ This is a [2] two hour session in [6] six week basketball tutorials ~ designed to help young players develop the critical skills of basketball.

The purpose is to stay healthy, and help the young boys and girls to learn the basic and Advanced Fundamentals of the game. And to avoid from all bad stuff, like vices and illegal drugs. By learning also the values of AMBITION, HARDWORK, HUMILITY, PERSEVERANCE, TEAMWORK, and SPORTSMANSHIP.

DEFENSE – is one of the vital and most important in playing basketball, the defense will very effective with the proper coordination inside the basketball court with the 5 five players, the team defense should execute properly the player should act as a team not a one man team. Basketball game is not a individual sport it’s a team effort, if the defense are working well it is very hard to the opponent to pe*****te inside or easily, to pass the ball freely, and difficult for them to score from your goals, so keep on improving your team defense to make you and your team WIN!
Fronts of the feet – most of your weight should be on the fronts or balls of your feet and the majority of the weight should be on the big toe, heel should still be in contact with the ground

Balance is the key to a great defensive stance and guarding the ball. If you lose your balance you are beat!!!
Never lose your balance – if you lose your balance in 1 second, YOU ARE BEAT!
If the ball is below the mid-section, put your hand above the ball
If the ball is in shooting position, put your hand on the ball
If the ball is above the head, place your hands under the ball and flip up
Keep your head lower than the offensive plyer’s head. That way you’re getting underneath the offensive player and will be in good position to slide your feet or take a charge
THE OFFENSIVE PLAYERS SHOULD POSITION HIS BODY BETWEEN THE BALL AND THE DEFENDER GUARDING HIM. USED MORE FREQUENTLY IN TRANSITION FAST BREAKS, THE HIGH DRIBBLE ALLOWS THE BALL HANDLER TO USE SPEED TO COVER THE GROUND IN THE OPEN COURT.

REBOUNDING – The most important things for the rebound is to take a position, block the opponent, get into the contact and then go for the ball, while getting the ball, start thinking about you body position so that when you land you are ready to pass the ball for the, outlet pass or pass break, because the time is very crucial in a fast break.
ASSUMING THE BALL WILL BE MISSED, LOCATE BOX OUT YOUR OPPONENTS, GRAB THE BALL AND LOOK FOR A RECIEVER

THE SIDE AND HELPS IN RAISING IT TO THE SHOOTING
POSITION. SHOOTING AS WITH ANY SHOT FACING THE BASKET, FOCUS ON THE RIM AND NOT THE BALL, WITH THE FINGERS COMFORTABLY SPREAD, WRIST BACK AND ELBOW POINTING AT THE BASKET. THE HEAD SHOUL BE CENTERED, EXTEND YOUR SHOOTING HAND AND FINGERS AND GIVE THE BALL A GOOD ROTATION, FOLLOW THROUGH. SHOOT WITH CONSISTENCY.
TALKING ABOUT THE ARM MOVEMENTS, I AM COMPLETELY CONCENTRATED ON QUICK AND COMPLETE EXTENDING OF THE ELBOW, AND FOLLOW THROUGH (GOOSE NECK), WHICH GIVES A ROTATION AND RIGHT DIRECTION TO BALL, AND WITH MY FINGERS I GIVE SMOOTHNESS TO THE SHOT. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ABOUT SHOOTING WHICH IS MY SPECIALTY THE 3 POINTER IS TO BE COMFORTABLE AND HAVE YOUR FEET FACING THE BASKET, TO HAVE A GOOD LEGS TO JUMP SO THAT THEY DON’T BLOCK YOU, THE HAND HAS TO BE THE MOST OPEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT TOUCHING THE BALL WITH THE PALM AND THEN EXERCISES IN SHOOTING.
THERE IS NO BETTER SECRET THAN WORK AND PRACTICE.
