The atmosphere was electric as we dived deep into the art of viticulture during our masterclass with Mr. Eanglebert Guina. The Wine Head Sommelier Philippines' premier sommelier didn’t just teach our students how to taste; he shared the stories behind the labels, transforming every sip into a journey across the world’s most prestigious vineyards. His ability to simplify the complexities of tannins and acidity made the world of wine feel accessible to everyone in the room.

The students walked away with more than just a refined palate, they left with a genuine connection to the craft. A massive thank you to Mr. Guina for his infectious passion and for elevating our understanding of what makes a vintage truly exceptional.

Last December 11, the Raffles and Fairmont Makati was transformed into a dazzling theater district as our students traded their uniforms for red-carpet glamour. It was a night of pure enchantment, where the elegance of the stage met the passion of the next generation of hospitality leaders.

From the iconic melodies to the standing ovations, this gala was more than just a celebration—it was a tribute to the Timeless Tunes that inspire us to dream big and lead with grace.

𝗔 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗔 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵. 𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗧.

There is no doubt that Atty. Luke Espiritu was one of the absolute highlights of SIHM IMPACT. Known for his unwavering courage and sharp intellect, Atty. Luke brought the house down at Raffles and Fairmont Makati with a message that resonated deep within our students.

He challenged our future hospitality leaders to look beyond the status quo and to lead with a brand of integrity that seeks justice and equity. In these trying times, his words served as a powerful reminder: the youth have the power not just to join the industry, but to transform society for the better.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.

At SIHM IMPACT, we were absolutely thrilled to be joined by Miss Earth Water 2024, Ms. Bea Millan-Windorski. As a global advocate for environmental preservation, Bea shared a powerful message with the SIHM Community that the future of our industry must be green.

She reminded us that to create a "brighter and more sustainable future," we must act with urgency and intention. Her presence was a testament to how the youth can use their platform to champion the earth and lead the way in collaborative transformation.

We were deeply honored to welcome Ms. Christine Joy Cari, Assistant Secretary for Tourism Development Planning of the Department of Tourism (DOT), to the SIHM IMPACT stage.

Speaking to our Tourism and Hospitality Management students from WCC-QC, ASEC Cari shared a powerful vision of what the future holds for our industry. Her presence reminded our students that they are the heartbeat of the nation’s progress. By focusing on sustainable growth and strategic action, she empowered our youth to see themselves as key players in rebuilding a stronger, more resilient Philippines.

At SIHM IMPACT, we were privileged to be guided by the wisdom of Ms. Grace Annabelle Navarro, Director for Professional Values and Ethics Development of World Citi Group.

In a world that often prioritizes skill alone, Ms. Navarro reminded our students that the true foundation of success lies in one’s Faith and Character. Her message was a beacon of hope, teaching our future hospitality leaders that while the "trying times" may test us, it is our internal compass and our trust in a higher purpose that allow us to rise above.

At SIHM IMPACT, we aimed to give our students more than just a lecture, we wanted to give them a vision.

We were honored to be joined by the Cluster Director of People and Culture of Raffles and Fairmont Makati, Mr. Nikko Matias who shared invaluable lessons on navigating the challenges of today’s hospitality landscape. This session was a powerful reminder to the SIHM Community that integrity and innovation are the keys to a successful career and a better world.

The future of hospitality is in good hands with these young leaders, inspired by the best in the business.

We are proud to share the photo highlights from the SIHM IMPACT: Innovative Movement for Progress, Action, and Collaborative Transformation held on December 11, 2025.

The event successfully hosted 500 Tourism and Hospitality Management students from the School of International Hospitality Management, Quezon City providing them with a platform to engage with transformative leadership and real-world innovation. Our goal remains steadfast: to remind our students that they possess the power to create a sustainable and hopeful future despite the complexities of today’s world.
