I could've been doing all of this alone. Like how I'm used to.

Pero sa events kasi, hindi pwede ang one-man team. Kailangan magaling ka makipag-kapwa tao. Kailangan mo ng reliable partners. Kailangan mo ng co-suppliers na may malasakit. Kasi ang events, magiging maayos ang flow kapag in sync ang lahat ng suppliers.

Everyday grateful to God for leading me to the right suppliers. And even to the right clients. We're just getting started for 2026 and I don't see myself stopping or slowing down any time soon.

Today, I hosted an 18th birthday program. Things were unfolding as planned and then... We heard this speech.

The speech of the debutante's dad to her daughter. Humorous yet heartfelt. I was moved to tears and so was the rest of the audience.

My takeaway from this speech? Fathers tend to hold a uniquely high standard for anyone who hopes to win their daughter’s heart. Because nothing matters more to them than keeping their daughter happy.

Yesterday's event at Plaza Ibarra was a blast! Mama Mely is now officially a DUAL CITIZEN--a Filipino citizen and a senior citizen.

No better way to celebrate this milestone but with a groovy retro theme. We had an amazing time celebrating and easily did 5,000 steps to the tune of Boogie Wonderland 🎶😉

I had an amazing time yesterday learning about the ABCDEs of marketing from Gretchen Veran! 😍

This morning meeting taught me more than a 3-day intensive bootcamp on social media marketing and made me realize that VIRALITY is NOT the goal. All this time I have been chasing that but Gretchen made me realize a better path towards consistently landing a sale.

Just yesterday, a good friend sent me my 2023 rate card. A timely reminder that I haven't been keeping up with my promise of "valuing my craft more".

I have adjusted my rates because of a few things:

1. Oil price hike
2. Oil price hike affecting everything else
3. I (FINALLY) know my worth 💯

Host Kat as of April 2026 is leagues away from Host Kat 3 years ago for a couple of reasons.

📚 I constantly learn and invest in myself by attending continuing education programs

🎤 I elevate the overall experience of your guests through my hosting repertoire

👯 I have a larger network of vetted co-suppliers I can tap for your needs

💪 And more importantly, I am a seasoned professional emcee who will avoid costly mistakes from happening

There's so much more I can give now compared to before. And as I continue, I know I'm only gonna get better and bolder, pushing boundaries to make your event extra memorable.

So now, I ask nothing more than your silent prayers as I navigate the events industry in a more intentional manner. Now, it's not about the number of events I get to book in a month but finding clients who value my craft and experience.
