QUIZ BEE COMPETITION
GENERAL RULES
1. The contest is open to all bonafide students from the INET Department (Aero,AT,AMT,AVT).
2. There shall be a maximum of three contestants per section coming from different years and courses.
3. The interested individuals shall register their names to the Faculty room located at the 4th floor Building B until Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
4. The questions will cover different technical and aviation-related subjects which will be submitted by faculty representatives from each program.
5. No cellphones, tablets, or any other form of communication device will be allowed on the contest proper. Shall any contestant fail to comply with this rule will automatically be disqualified.
MECHANICS
1. Each participant shall confirm his/her attendance with the faculty-in-charge 15 minutes before the contest proper. There shall be no substitutes after the confirmation has been done.
2. Each participant shall be assigned a number which will correspond to his/her identity during the contest proper.
3. Before the contest proper, the quiz master shall make a roll call of all the participants. Shall any student fail to have their names registered before the contest shall no longer participate.
4. The contest shall have two rounds: the elimination and the championship.
ELIMINATION
a. The elimination round will be on Wednesday, September 8, 2015 at exactly 1:00 pm. There will be assigned rooms on the 4th floor Building B with the posted list of participants. The students shall look for their assigned rooms. Students shall come 15min. before the time for the attendance.
b. There will be three rounds (Easy, Average, Difficult). For each question, there will be a corresponding point.

Average - 2
Difficult - 3
c. There will be no penalty for no and wrong answers.
d. Answers shall be written in capital letters.
e. Each participant will be provided by enough bond paper and marker.
f. Top 10 participants from each course shall proceed to the championship round.
CHAMPIONSHIP
a. The championship round will be on the first day of the INET WEEK on Thursday, September 10, 2015. There will be an assigned room on the 4th floor Building B with the list of names of the participants.
b. The participants shall be grouped by 3s composing of one AERO/AT, one AMT, and one AVT. There will be a random selection for the groupings.
c. There will be three rounds (Easy, Average, Difficult). For each question, there will be a corresponding point.

Average - 2
Difficult - 3
d. There will be no penalty for no and wrong answers.
e. Answers shall be written in capital letters.
g. Each participant will be provided by enough bond paper and marker.
h. At the end of the round, the top-scoring team shall be declared the winner.
i. In case of a tie, there will be a tie-breaker question. The first team to score shall be declared the winner.
