PINOY OTAKU ENCORE 2011 is our first major event that focuses on the true Pinoy Otaku identity which is a culture on its own focusing on the Pinoy's dedication as manifested by the current trend in popular culture. It is shown by the blending of three cultures; Filipino, Japanese and Korean. The event highlights the true Pinoy Otaku in all of us.
We are merging our own Pinoy Otaku Culture here in celebration of WHO WE ARE AS FILIPINOS and not always in the shadow of other countries. It is about time that we discover our very own identity. Through this event we are CELEBRATING WHO WE ARE. We cannot be Japanese or Korean but for sure we can be a Pinoy Otaku who are Pinoys.

Trying to achieve an event which is also a Live Action Role Play or LARP, we came up with “FANTASM” in 2014. Fantasm means a creation of the imagination or fancy; fantasy (Fhan付asm). After a one year hiatus, POF came back with POF 2016: AniMAY Weekend. It is an event centered on the theme of anime. It is also the first time were the event is starting to move towards more engaging segments.

This is probably our biggest POF and most successful compared to previous events. Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces was very kind to support all the needs of the event including the venue, LED Wall, prizes, and sound system.
“DANKETSU.” The title is the Japanese term for “unity.” Pinoy Otaku Festival (POF) 2017: DANKETSU wishes to bring together and unite the Otaku culture in the Philippines which includes cosplay, manga, music, games and more. We would invite various organizations to collaborate with us and show a message of unity towards achieving positive endeavors in the culture.

The theme for POF 2018 is Ai which means “LOVE” in Japanese. We also incorporated our local Baybayin writing into our official logo for this year which means PAG-IBIG. We are hoping that you will support the event, share it and invite your friends to attend. We also used an event mascot with the same name and is from the game Love Virus by Team Kizuna headed by Russell Alfonso.
Pinoy Otaku Festival (POF) 2018: AI spreads love and camaraderie within the pop culture community in the Philippines. It also want promotes cosplay, manga, music, games and more.
During this event we make ANIME GAME CHALLENGE bigger which consists of customized popular game shows that can be participated by the audience. It clicked and it became a part of the event.

The title theme of the event “ASOBU” means “Let’s Play” and will focus more on interactive experience for all attendees including games on stage, console games, board games and more. It will also include our traditional cosplay competition, karaoke, and Battle of the Bands.
