The activity included the 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐏𝐓 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, as well as sessions on data interpretation and action planning to support evidence-based 𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in the community.

This helps ensure that women receive the care and support they need throughout pregnancy and gives every child the healthiest start in life.

According to the Philippine Pediatric Society, proper nutrition during this stage is essential. Any nutritional damage that occurs during this period may be irreversible and can have long-term effects on a child’s health and development.
