Shell Eco Marathon 2012: Team Fuel Cell UKM PREPARING FOR SHELL ECO-MARATHON ASIA 2015 Malaysia became the first Asian country to host the event. The 2014 edition will be held in Manila, Philippines.

The Shell Eco-marathon challenges high school and college student teams from around the world to design, build and test energy efficient vehicles. With annual events in the Americas, Europe and Asia, the winners are the teams that go the farthest distance using the least amount of energy. Malaysia hosted the Asian edition for 3 consecutive years from 2010 in Sepang International Circuit; thereafter it will be brought to another Asian country for the subsequent 3 years.
