Union Sports League Akademia – Tarlac City successfully held its basketball coaching and referees training session on March 15, 2026, made possible through the support of the Tarlac City Basketball Referees Association (TBRA) headed by Edgar Bermudo, President of the First Coaches and Referees Union of the Philippines Inc..
This grassroots development initiative was organized in partnership with The Point Guard Academy (TPGA) led by Coach Ricky Longares, providing young athletes with quality basketball training and mentorship.
Special thanks to Coach Carmelo Alas for spearheading the project as Training Director, and to Converge ICT Solutions – Fober X Franchise of Tarlac City for their support in helping bring this program to life.
Through collaboration and shared commitment, the Union Sports League Akademia continues to create opportunities for aspiring athletes to develop their skills, discipline, and passion for the game.
