This year’s celebration honors the enduring tradition of “𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑝𝑜 𝑠𝑖ℎ𝑖”, the early barter trade of Puka shells that once supported the livelihood of Boracay’s first settlers. It is a reflection of the Yapaknon spirit, resilient, industrious, and proudly rooted in culture and tradition.
