The shores of Brgy. Baylimango are a lot greener after ZANECO’s major joint environmental initiative with ExI System+, Inc. that successfully planted 2,000 Piapi mangrove seedlingsβ€”together with local government agencies, cooperatives, NGOs, community leaders, and local volunteers .

This large‑scale mangrove reforestation is a powerful step toward protecting coastal erosion and restoring our coastal marine contributing to long‑term climate resilience.

The Piapi mangrove species was selected for its exceptional resilienceβ€”acting as a natural β€œgreen wall” that protects coastal communities from storm surges while serving as an important carbon sink for climate mitigation. πŸŒΏπŸ’š
